Our Story

The head chef and founder of Dolce Napoli Balmain is one of the foremost culinary talents, serving exceptional Italian cuisine in the heart of Balmain.

Years of international experience has inspired Martin and his unique cooking philosophy, where it all began in Rome, Italy in 2005. Martin fell in love with authentic Italian fresh food ingredients, handmade pizza and pasta, where he developed his unique style and creative flair working in high-end restaurants.

Martin continued to express his love for Italian food, and moved to Galway, Ireland where he lived and work for five years, before continuing his dreams in Dublin as Head Chef at Jamie Oliver’s Dundrum Restaurant until 2017.

In 2017, Martin moved to Sydney, where he continued to work as Head Chef for Jamie Oliver’s renowned restaurant in Pitt St, followed by Laundry Hotel Groups.

 

Through a successful international venture, and many years of experience in the Hospitality Industry, Martin decided to open his first restaurant Dolce Napoli, located in Balmain. He believes in caring for each guest individually, ensuring that their meal is one they remember long after their last bite.
